Southeast Youth Ministry
The Southeast Youth Ministry is a place where
students can come together in a safe environment to
be with friends and engage in the Word of God as we
discover together how to live as Christ.
Our goal at Southeast is to model and explore the
life of Jesus not only through our teaching and
class times but when we're just hanging out.
To really live as Christ, it is more than just
reading and talking about it, but living it out in
our interactions with each other.
Small
Group Ministry
Every Wednesday evening during the school
year from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, students come
to be a part of our small group ministry.
Here, students have a safe environment to
discuss deeper and more personal issues in a
smaller group setting. Groups consist
of 1 or 2 adult leaders and 5 to 7 same
gender, same aged students.
Sunday Night Youth Worship
Every Sunday night from 5:00 pm to 7:00
pm, students join together in the Gym for a
time of fellowship, worship and outreach.
We have a team of parent volunteers that
help make this a successful event every
week!
With a full gym, we might play some
basketball, volleyball or maybe a friendly
game of dodge ball. At 5:15 pm, we'll
serve dinner! The meal costs only
$2.00 per student. After we eat, we'll
spend time in worship with our Creator or
reaching out to our community and world
through service projects.
Some nights, we will split our age groups
for more focused time. The High School
students will meet at Billy and Alicia's
house while the Junior High meets at the
building. Here we are able to focus
more on where students currently are in
their lives.
Sunday Morning Bible Studies
Every Sunday morning form 10:30 am to
11:30 am, students participate in a time of
fellowship and learning about God through
His Word.
