Southeast is looking for a full-time Youth Minister who is passionate about helping the next generation follow Jesus. A candidate seeking this position should energetically share Jesus with our youth, maintain a strong team environment partnering with parents and work collaboratively with our Family Ministry team.  A Bachelor’s degree in ministry or a related field and 1-3 years’ experience working with youth are preferred.

Job Description

Primary Responsibility:
Meet the spiritual & relational needs of youth for Tweens (5th & 6th)
and Teens (7th-12th.)

ministry objectives:

Provide Youth with opportunities for spiritual growth.
  1. Lead Sunday and Wednesday programming to provide excellent Bible studies and Small Group interactions. Equip students to own and share their faith into adulthood.
  2. Recruit teachers and volunteers to staff program.
  3. Work with other ministers to create opportunities for intergenerational connections.
Develop relationships with children and families.
  • Communicate with youth & families throughout the week. Attend important school events/activities as time allows.
  • Strive to establish connection with all youth in ministry.
Lead events for youth to build connection with each other.
  • Organize and plan youth events such as mission trips, fall/spring retreats, etc.
  • Assist team with Family Ministry events such as Summer Camps, Family Camp, etc.
