When did you join the SE staff?
August 2007.
What’s playing on your
iPod right now? (EXCEPT David- your question
is: What’s playing on your record player right now?)
My iPod isn't on, but we are listening to "the wheels on the bus" at my house right now. You can usually take your pick between that, the spiderman theme song or "Who let the dogs out" (my 5 year old usually controls the music selections)
What’s your favorite way to spend a day?
My absolute favorite way to spend a day is relaxing on a beautiful beach (Galveston does not count) with my husband Travis. When that isn't possible, my favorite thing is to close the door to my scrapbook room and have the day to myself scrapbooking without interruptions.
What books have you read more than once?
I have read several books more than once. Most recently, Babywise,
What to Expect when you're Expecting, and Vince Flynn's Memorial Day
Where in the world would you love to travel to?
My dream vacation is to a remote beach in Tahiti where I can have a
private cabana over the water.
What word would most people use to describe
you?
Someone once described me as phlegmatic. But, since most people
don't know what that means, others would descibe me as calm, even-
tempered, and unflappable.
On an everyday basis, where do you most clearly
see God?
In my two children, Reagan and Kelton. Kelton (the baby) has one of those
contagious smiles which reminds me that God is indeed good and the blessings
he pours out on us are imeasureable. Reagan constantly helps me understand
why Christ wants us to have a childlike faith. He has a tender, compassionate spirit,
and the questions he asks me on a daily basis (pretty deep theology for a 4 year old)
make me think about life in a different way. |
