When did you join the SE staff?
September 1, 2007 officially but I’ve been
working with our students since the fall of ’02.
What’s playing on your
iPod
right now? (EXCEPT David- your question is: What’s
playing on your record player right now?)
Well since I have not upgraded to an
iPod,
I’ll go with my DJ Ditty and say it’s Matt
Chandler’s podcasts for the Village church in
Dallas…But my itunes is on shuffle…so you
might get some Mercy Me or
Acappella or maybe even some Pink Floyd.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day?
With my wonderful wife Alicia watching movies and
relaxing trying not to think about all I have to do.
What books have you read more than once?
The
Harry Potter’s,
The
Hobbit, The Gospels and ‘Oh The Places you’ll
Go’
Where in the world would you love to travel to?
Egypt, because I’ve always been fascinated by
the ancient culture there;
Scotland, because it’s in my heritage and
it’s so scenic; and
Italy
because I’d love to tour the area where so much of
our Art, from painting, to sculpture, to
architecture comes from.
What word would most people use to describe you?
Lazy OCD
On an everyday basis, where do you most clearly
see God?
I see God daily in my relationships. He’s
evident to me when I talk to my wife, when I talk
and discuss matters of scripture with the other
ministers and when I’m spending time with friends.
His blessings are all around in my community of
friends. I sometimes forget to look around, but
it’s so very clear when I pay attention. |
